Dr Mark R. Leiser is a legal academic and digital regulation expert specializing in online manipulation, AI, and consumer protection. He serves as a Visiting Professor in Digital Regulation & Disruptive Technology at the Riga Graduate School of Law and is a researcher at Leiden University’s Center for Law and Digital Technologies. As a leading global authority on dark patterns and deceptive design, his research integrates behavioral science and law to shape internet governance.
